Our Mission
Blessings through Adoption of Beaver County is a non-profit, faith-based organization in Beaver, Pennsylvania. We are here to support, educate, and equip:
Families that have adopted and fostered

Over the years, Blessings Through Adoption has walked closely with incredible people who are willingly inviting trauma into their home in order to provide safety and care to children. Despite the known challenges, they continue to answer the call many times, often with multiple children in their homes at once. They are our heroes. We seek to support these parents through:
- Monthly dinners with guest speakers who lead us in the discussion of various subjects according to the needs of the group.
- Monthly dinners and classes for the kids that occur concurrent to parent gatherings: Tiny tots 0-3, Lil rascals 4-8, NBtweens 9-11, and Epic Teens Starbucks Coffee hour 13-18.
- Monthly Family Fun Activities
- 1/1 Teen Mentoring (upon request)
- Individual Parent Coaching (upon request)
- #1 Girls Teen/Tween Mentoring Group monthly activities

Children
As Blessings Through Adoption grew, it became clear that the children in our program need just as much support as their parents. We created classes for the children where they make friendships, are taught life skills and coping strategies, and are reminded that they are God's precious children. These classes cover topics such as:

How to advocate for themselves, etc
We also offer homework support and educational tutors for the children in our program. This includes offering families nutritious meals and skills and knowledge training in proper nutrition and healthy meal preparation.

Christian Professionals
In addition to our family directed programs, Blessings through Adoption also trains Christian professionals that are experienced in working with children with trauma and have a heart for foster and adoption. We have formed partnerships with licensed medical professionals to provide safety during all sponsored activities. The Blessings through Adoption Community gives foster and adoptive children and families the gift of community and support so they can know their value in Christ and in their communities.
